About

As a Chartered Structural Engineer with over a decade of experience, I founded Wessex Structural Engineers to bring clear, high-quality structural design to residential projects in Winchester and across Hampshire.

I’m proud to have delivered a wide range of exciting projects. As a graduate at Buro Happold, I worked on major landmarks like Frank Gehry’s Prospect Place in Battersea and West Kowloon Station in Hong Kong. More recently I have designed over 200 domestic schemes and developed my experience in the conservation of historic buildings, including multiple Grade I and II* Listed properties and National Trust sites.

I bring a practical approach and understanding of buildability constraints, based on hands-on experience. For example, while living in Canada I worked on the construction of timber framed cabins and their foundations. Outside of engineering, I enjoy getting outdoors — running and hiking in nature, or sailing in the Solent and further afield as a volunteer skipper with the Rona Sailing Project and RYA Yachtmaster Instructor.

I enjoy working closely with architects, builders, and clients to turn ideas into well-built spaces. No matter the scale, my focus is always the same: high-quality and efficient designs, delivered with a clear, collaborative approach.
